Yep. If someone else were to consume it, while they wouldn't see the kettle drops, they would gain benefits in some other ways, likely actual great god-like fortune for a limited time that could allow them to win a lottery.
It costs a philosopher stone, which was described as when added to a staff being something that any magic user would pay any price to have. The only benefits here are that the money drops don't have any effect on the economy so he can use them on his item upgrade system without messing with the rest of the economy, and the vague fortune buff that suggests it is far more potent than just being financial benefits.
He needs to find a better fence. There's a lot of rare expensive materials going into making arguably less money. All so he can avoid attention I assume.
lol interesting the concept of a 'philosophers stone' exists in that world but if he picks up kettles and cards i'm sure he'd find out all the rare names
i'm sure he'd make profits but i wonder how many ppl would sign up to test out potions or such , depending on how loyal ppl in meyer's company is XD (tho even if only he can see drops maybe it'd work on other ppl in normal fighting)
i guess it helps he has ppl cover for him/not like he's dragged into anything huge but i do expect another big bad to show up eventually unless he's just gonna go city to city solving smaller problems
