uuuh, how did he know about that scroll (or rare items, overall)? Is this a poor adaptation, or is there a chapter missing?
Hmmm, now we have another cowardly protagonist, well, as long as this series lead the way how it turned out
on the contrary, he's idiotically brave and stupid, not cowardly. Instead of making tons of money trading with the intel he can gather (to find hidden bargains), or even buying large amounts of cheap local stuff in bulk to peddle across towns (with hired escort) using the starting cash if it is enough... he decides to go out with a party of adventurers on a rare-monster hunt with uncertain intel as the porter (either they kill him and rob him blind, or they see value in him and kidnap him and maybe sell - unless he somehow makes them think he wants to join them permanently. In which case he dies as they are just too weak anyway).
With such a power, he should've become a merchant and made measures to remain safe, and level through importing restrained monsters.
Well I really like for now that MC is not stupid like others to jump in battle randomly and think "haha it will be fine I'm freaking main character of the story". He thinks quiet rationally and its good.
But for some reason he felt it was a good idea to follow weak adventurers going after a swarm of unusually strong wolves. Almost died from it too, as we saw.
