I already had my expectations up for this mc, but he had NO REASON to tell them about his item box skill, let alone dump the items he had for them to see. This guy is a fucking retard, an imbecile. He could've made up any lie to give those bandits for his reason to hire those idiots.

It's already clear that item box skill is super rare to have, and this fucking beta retard goes and tells it to the bandits?

It was already really stupid for him to use his skill openly to be a luggage carrier for all the adventurers in capital, since he got unwanted attention and prob almost got captured because of it.

So close already dropping this manga. So disappointed since I've kinda even enjoyed this manga so far, but shit like that is unacceptable from the protagonist.

If I had used actual money buying a physical copy of this manga, it would be exactly this chapter where I would be very regretful supporting this kind of author..

Shouldn't have revealed he can carry so much with the item box. Should've said hired those guys because was told that level was needed as an escort, was trying to err on side of caution and pulled out a large number of things from the item box but not everything. If any of those bandits get caught word of his item box will be given away in an attempt to gain favorable treatment.
In any case, reminds me of the move "The Crying Game" where the hostage gets away from captors but gets hit by a friendly vehicle.
