@Krhischan More like Andrew Jackson or Robert E Lee, Hitler wasn't anti-color, he was more anti-non-aryan-whites. Compared to the US, Nazi Germany actually dont have very specific policies targeting the black population as compared to their antisemitic, antislavic, and antiroma policies.

Seems like lots of folk aren't too hype for this twist, personally I am incredibly hype. Not only do the protagonists have to survive, now they have to stop an idiot racist who's going to wipe out homo sapiens because 'coloured bad'. Adds more spice. It's at least more interesting than having an antagonist who's sole purpose is to become powerful and be king, with no clear goals beyond that.

Plus, You don't often see race brought up in manga in ways that aren't edgy as hell, or coded as something fantasy-like like orcs vs elves.

it's not so surprising honestly, there was already indication that some other person who went to the past was leading the Neanderthals, we already got that they liked power and militarism, so what if it's a racist bastard? I think it's a bit cheap way of generating conflict, but I also think it's one of very few ways you could make an antagonist in this scenario where cooperation would be really beneficial.

Didn't it almost feel like the Neanderthals were speaking something resembling greek? In my mind, it's like the command was, "Belisarius, move your squad forward," or something to that effect. I want this to be like Drifters but less silly.

Also the Hitler Youth made an explicit point of not indoctrinating the children in racism, and the Islamic SS outnumbered the Scandinavian SS 4:1. There was also a French SS that fought on the Eastern Front that outnumbered La Resistance, even de Gaulle made fun of the "worthless" wannabee resistance fighters-who-never-did-anything who materialized out of nowhere to parade when Paris was liberated - French women who fraternized with Germans were revenge-raped by "loyal" French layabouts who hid in safety while the few Gaullists did all the work. There were also the numerous cases of American and other blacks remarking how they felt better appreciated by the Nazis than at home. Oh I could go on, but the Nazis were the least racist out of all the combatants, did I mention Patton going out of his way to use blacks as front-line cannon fodder and instructing them to literally ram panzers and manually open the armor while being machine-gun'd into human burger, or Jim Crow laws, or the basic dictionary notion that racialism is not equivalent to racism, or Hitler pointing to the Chinese as a superior race and claiming Germany would have been better off if Islam had won the Battle of Tours a thousand years prior and converted everyone into the "more masculine" Muslim faith, or the numerous examples of Jews in the Nazi ranks who fled to Mexico after the war, or the assassination of Yamamoto in a curious breach of chivalry-esque behavior and a tacit admission that the IJN was actually a threat to the US Navy, or the extermination of the Russians over the preceding 25 years, etc. etc? Holy cow learn some history before you mindlessly repeat tv news. Oh right, then there was the fact that the German officers were actually racially integrated, unlike the case with the Allies - they simply had few blacks in the first place, though the Allies had curiously an absence of Africans in their leadership despite winning the scramble for Africa (and everywhere else).

I mean if you think about it, the based twist makes sense.

What's the easiest way to convince an entire race to kill another one? Say that they are bad and that they doesn't deserve life. Easy as that. Especially for someone with future knowledge of warfare and mass communication, it's a piece of cake to convince neanderthals that he/she's a god.

Binged all of the released chapters today.

I don't know much about ancient history, but it's weird that homo sapiens are able to beat neanderthals even 1 to 1, but beating them while outnumbered? From what I've leardned neanderthals were much bigger and stronger than homo sapiens, and homo sapiens were able to "beat" them simply by being better at hunting, requiring less food to survive, and being the first to invent missile weapons. The javelin throwing seems realistic but it should've been used more, it should be their only advantage in a very disadvantageous fight.

There may have been other ways, but it seems pretty obvious why someone from the future would use the (white) Neanderthals to wipe out the (colored) Homo Sapiens.

I can't think of a better reason to have someone from the future lead Neanderthals to wipe out Homo Sapiens. I mean, aside from their skin color, why would they order Neanderthals to wipe out Homo Sapiens? I mean, ic they were from the future (which seems likely) they would be mostly Homo Sapien(possibly some Neanderthal ancestry, but aside from race, I can't see a reason to do whatever it is they're doing

@Dyingphoenix the issue is it doesn't make sense, there just wasn't enough mixing of people for there to be enough racism to unify a group of tribes. They would feel more hatred for nearby tribes that likely killed some of them than for some unknow foreign person they'd never see.
If that wasn't enough they had to spend so much time gathering food a day that it was impossible to form the supply chain needed for war on any scale larger than a tribe skirmish that lasts a few days. So it makes no sense for any tribesmen to be convinced by such rhetoric.

@mmerijn what are you talking about? The Neanderthals were already fighting with the Homo Sapiens. All the foreigner would've had to do was impress the Neanderthals (just like Taiga has done with the homo sapiens) and he they'd respect and listen to them.
The Neanderthals and the Homo Sapiens were already enemies. The foreigner simply instilled the belief in the Neanderthals that they were better than the homo sapiens. Which I doubt would've been too hard since they would be listening to an amazing/genius king/God. I doubt the Neanderthals are the brightest thinkers, so when someone comes along with new and innovative ideas, they'd be more than willing to believe and listen to whatever they said
