its quite likely that archers and warriors do use mana, but buff their bodies instead of casting spells, so that arrow is probably as deadly as a bullet. last chapter we got that "deadly poison doesnt kill me but i will have a tummyache" from that girl, so its not like theyre just human and thats it, people can be abnormally strong in this setting.Stark barely gets cut from an axe from a demon to the side, but an arrow, shot from kms away, with a bit of poison, pierces right through him like its nothing.
What.
nope, the world building here just sucks, some how warriors are just super strong for no reason, without any explanations, some how regular humans can just train and become strong, if thats the case, its a wonder why mages don't train as well to beable strong as fuck too.So he can take an arrow clean through the shoulder, then just pull it out and start running like it's nothing? Or was there some healing magic going on there that I missed?
yeah but thats fucking dumb as shit, they never explained why they could do that, without any magic involved they some how have charles atlas super power or some shit. This is just how warriors are built in this setting. Although it's likely mana is involved in their abilities, minding that a demon could mimic them with magic.
You are literally replying to a post in which I posit that warriors in Frieren's setting achieve what they do by channeling mana (magical power) through their own bodies.yeah but thats fucking dumb as shit, they never explained why they could do that, without any magic involved they some how have charles atlas super power or some shit.
Again, if you carefully read the post you are replying to, I specifically point out that the demon Linie (in the demon negotiations with Graf Granat arc) mimicked warrior abilities via spellcasting.humans shouldn't beable to do super human feats without any supernatural explanation, that also doesn't explain why mages don't just dual class as warriors and become invincible
the author is trying to paint the picture that no one is omnipotent, including frieren & serie. But I get you, from throwing black hole & thunders to almost getting killed by an old man with a knife and a bow user sniper, it feels like kinda forcing it. You'd think they wont live up to 1000+ years if they could get killed that easilyStark being useless as usual.
The strongest mage almost got killed by an arrow.
This is becoming a joke
