I bet she's having nightmares about
  • Mimics with 0% chance of grimoires
  • Fern and Stark calling her an old lady constantly, so she's crying forever instead of only 3 days
  • Dungeons with no chests or winding paths. Takes you straight to the boss.
  • The only spells that exist in the world are boring combat spells.
  • She'll never be the sexy Empire-version of Frieren 😭

I'm guessing the magic jar is made by Flamme. Flamme flashback, the region is old, and Flamme statue nearby. Though, a jar would probably break over the many centuries.

I figured the Empire would be in trouble. Frieren going on about how it will be more peaceful and orderly there, how powerful they are... Frieren jinxed them, that's what happened to the Empire!

if you presented a button to frieren that had a 99% chance of instantly killing her and a 1% chance to give her a grimoire that would play goose honks at random times, she'd press that button no hesitation
if you live as long as she does life would probably be boring without 'risks' unless she's able to like, sleep for like 2 weeks at a time and only need to eat one meal every three days compared to traveling with partners

Crazy how popular the anime made a rather uneventful character like Aura.

Onions make food taste worse.
In nearly every case, when someone is strongly averse to the taste of something, he or she is especially sensitive to the smell of a toxin in that something.

I like onions, and the levels of the toxins that they contain are not hazardous. But I would never try to compel or to trick someone into eating them.

My question is this though; who in their right mind would make such a magical jar in the first place!?

You should've seen how the popularity blew up after that chapter.
I started reading then, I had noticed the manga and always thought I'd pick it up after a while, but I didn't until the Aura chapter. It literally exploded.

For me it's the sharp onion taste that damps everything else. If you fry and brown them a little, they're far more tasty.
I think a lot of stuff miss something if I don't have onions in though, so I usually add just a little. A little onion goes a long way.
