I wonder how old an actual elder elf would be like 100k ? I know her village got wiped out but with a lifespan like that I wonder why elves arent the dominant race ? Perhaps childhood takes far too long and even Frieren is still a child ? Either way im gonna be sad when she outlives this guys.

@Sumgui risk-averse, one king rule forever. Like if you are rich and live for ever, why would you risk fighting with a bunch of savages over a patch of dirt. A human that fights risks and hopes to gain wealth, land, fight for next generation... Same thing with technology and order of society, if you are junior, how you go to higher rank if your superior live forever, what reason to tryhard? => that why I think all of elf would be hobo like Frieren, there is no reason to form a kingdom or cannot, why you need a king to obey? if you want safety, a village is enough. A village in the protect of human kingdom isn't better then?

Whoever complained about the towns name should remember that people loves giving practical name. Look no further than english last name and you would find names like shoemaker, baker, smith, white, brown, etc. For the name Tür, it could be just that the town is the only entrance to a certain region. This is actually the case for a town near my home, it was called door (in local language obviously) because the area is surrounded by mountains, hills, and the sea from all sides save from a narrow passage that today become that town. Or maybe it's just because there are a lot of door makers in the town.

Oh, side quests that block the advancement of your main quest. Yes, I've been through stuff like that before. At least they didn't have to kill then rats...

@Indice From Frieren looks and characters, she's probably still considered a child or atleast a teenager in the elf race, maybe around 12-13 years old in human ages, but its no ordinary 12-13 years old, a genius, wise, 12-13 years old, but from Kraft, he's probably already considered a grown adult, if we take into consideration, he's probably 20-30 in human ages, and in elf age, frieren is roughly 1200-1300 too, how do calculate this? from the body, it still looks like a late 2 year old, but from character, she have gone through lots, and you knew it, probably kraft is already around 2000-3000 years old, and if we count it roughly, maybe elf lifespan is around 12.000 years old? or maybe 20.000? because from the signs, it seem like elves we're thriving before the humans and demons become powerful.

Hmmm... now that we know Kraft was the hero from ages ago, could it be that the humans misunderstood the legend of the hero's sword? It can only be pulled out by the true hero, yes, meaning the original one who put it there. Humans are simply unable to comprehend that the true hero was a near-immortal elf who might want to come back thousands of years later to pick up his sword once more.
