"I'm worried about her future, that's why I'm saving her mother". What the heck, you useless noodle, you wouldn't have saved that woman otherwise despite being able to? Imagine going to the ER, and they tell you "sorry, we could save your life, but you don't have kids so we don't have a reason to".
Those low-tiers authors should stop giving superpowers to their MC if they can't work out challenges to overcome without ressorting to stupid excuses like "If I use my power, medical knowledge will not progress". Just like Superman fighting crimes didn't render police obsolete all over the world, the MC healing every person in need he came across would make a dent in the need from normal medecine.

This authors lack of consistency is an affront to story crafting, Tormi village and Belkaim are next to each other on that map, but the guard when he first arrived said it's a month long trip, but going across the continent is suddenly 5 days?
I think the author needs to keep notes on their stories key points and logic, for example the loli at Gallop inn was the one who told MC that there is magic to clean yourself, an inn in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, yet Brolite who is an elf and traveling thought he was some great wizard of immense power when he used it.
The logic just doesn't track.

The dumbest part is he can fly and run fast and did it a few times and refuses to in this situation even though he setup a recall stone in her bedroom to gate back. I can get why he doesn't want it getting out that he can heal anything because he has to do it personally, but he should just insist the lord doesn't thank publicly. About him not "advancing medical knowledge" he spends half his time gathering medical plants and doesn't make a single potion. Providing countries with endless supplies of high quality ingredients probably offsets healing people here and there and it definitely suppresses market prices for anyone who can't pick higher quality stuff anywhere he's living. Would suck to be an herb gather and have him move into town.
