In the end, why not. But a murim setting is most of the time used in an action filled story, not like this. Sometimes, it reminds me of Cowboy Bebop, and other times, it's quite contemplative. Anyway, it's a unique story for sure.

While this is true for most xianxia (i think this is more xianxia than murim) manwha, I disagree with the sort of direction their stories take. I think they should be much more philosophical in nature since they are, at the end of the day, stories about a character on their path to transcendance and immortality

Honestly, you'd think more of these comics would have very philosophical stories considering the themes of enlightenment and transcendence that a majority of them use.
