From what i have understood

she decided to leave the guild because who know how she knew it would soon be destroyed and tried to prevent that. (page 4)

she was and always would be a wanderer so it is fine for her even she seemed to love the guild. (page 7)

Now in the present she contemplated the remain of guild and remembered the day she had left saying she hadn't managed to change the fate of the guild neither by leaving and nor she would have changed it if she had stayed but by at that time she couldn't had known that (page 12).

And after she finally came back there she have realized, that after all the time and experience she had gone though since she left, no matter how much she had grown, the she still is the wizard who left the only place where she feel at home, and cry on its remain (page 14).

I haven't feel that depressed in reading a manga since these ones.

well, seems like this is either the actual end, or setting up for part 3...the shadow knights are gonna have the magic books, the good knights kinda screwed themselves over, and the remaining mages seem to include spectral (whose return may be somewhat delayed), crystal, chaos, chaos, chaos, chaos, some more chaos?, fireless red robe girl, and a new possibly foreseeing mage...or possibly she just makes chunni cryptic talk and plant powers happen? I mean if she really can see the future, then that's either something other than "magic", or she's the first mage to have multiple powers (sure mages have different spells, but they've all fallen within the same category, i.e. stone mage girl only had stone magic, crystal mage only has ice powers, and sure, she *tried* to gain mind control powers but failed so she only ever had the 1 type)
