It's not like I am a fan of what the west is putting out all the time. But this kinda works both ways. And the East has tons of absolute garbage it puts out also.(how many isekai Harem clones are we up to now)

It's really simple. Good writing is good writing. Bad writing is bad writing.

Any franchise going decades in circulation with dozens of writers and hundreds of people involved, is going to have great ideas, and terrible ones. Times of Great writing, and times of terrible writing.

The fact you are even upset about the crap nowadays, is proof the Westerner creation and story of Spiderman is so good. So good to the point that a manga artist in the east who was a well known huge fan, now is creating his own spiderverse spinoff story.

Maybe in a few years we will get a "So I'm a Spider(man)...so what?!" series that sucks, and the western one will be fantastic again.
