Interesting that the couple school chapters a short while ago introduced new characters to us, but nothing much was done with them (aka, school-focused arc wasn't coming next or anything), and instead we now got a new batch of characters again.

This time it does seem like we will be getting into an arc that will flesh these newcomers out a bit though. I'm all in for more info on Garden too, so hopefully some interesting bits coming up

So the garden is basically a remnant of the imperial days before it a powerful secretive criminal syndicate? Very interesting but I do wonder how old it is.

The Russians did conduct a purge on their nobility before turning into a communist country and there's always that trope that someone escaped from it and formed a syndicate afterwards, to fight against communism.
