Since subaru's returning by death ability has specified spawn points, so he wouldn't be able to do the same as gong-ja.
And also Subaru is told a lot of different times that he shouldn't abuse return by death, since its unknown what happens to the world that he leaves behind when he dies, not considering how much more painful his deaths are
