Using the word “mensiversary” makes sense if Japanese language has a standard way of expressing the concept that is known to most speakers. If it does not, and the Japanese struggle as do most English speakers, then using “mensiversary” might actually be inappropriate. In any case, it's a good word for your verbal tool-kit.
