But...

Even if all those ministers died there, that doesn't means the whole system is now over, chains of command have fail-safes, so the next over in line will take over getting a promotion, that's double the case for the military

So Japan is in fact not wide open, and defeating nudist glasses is not really necessary to protect the country

while i do agree with you, to give a bit more context for the manga i believe it's implied that everyone of any significant power was there, however, that would also imply that japan for whatever reason either sent everyone of any significant power there, or everyone of any significant power willingly went there all at the same time, or even worse, probably both

so basically, it's a little dumb either way
