Oof. Too relatable

While we’re here, I’d like to shill Coco Ichibanya. Unbeatable curry. If you like it hot, go for level 2 spiciness! It’s just hot enough to still taste good!

Oh yeah, been there before. Sucks so much when you're looking forward to eat a freshly cooked rice only to find that the rice cooker isn't turned on.

Ooh they built one next to my house less than a year ago so I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation!

Ach, looks like we've all been there.
I've found it helps to keep a stash of instant rice on hand for situations like these.

LOL i know rice goes with so many things but living alone even without adopting in a random cute succubus, you'd think other than a rice cooker, there'd just be like 'minute rice' or so for quick meals like how there's cup ramen (tho i'm sure the instant rice brands in Japan might be better than ones here [tho interesting he says 'white rice from the market' nearby, b/c other than the rice at home being diff i'd think it'd be the same unless there's a market that would sell you precooked rice/made to order that'd be quicker]) if not having some leftovers unless they all eat enough to not have leftovers for the next day

Thanks for the chapter!
There's a simple reason I would either use my pressure cooker or just boil the rice:
It's faster than using a rice cooker.
A pressure cooker (mine at least) would take about 13 minutes cooking time - 3 minutes to cook and 10 minutes natural pressure release with probably like 3-4 minutes to get to pressure - a total of what? 16-17 minutes?
Boiling is like 12 minutes or so for white rice.
30 minutes is too long for white rice imo.
