Broccoli IS pretty good steamed with a crank of pepper and some salt. I prefer to saute it in olive oil or in Beef & Broccoli stir fry. I never understood why broccoli got the hate it did in popular media when I was a kid. Broccoli was pretty GOATed as a main vegetable. Eminently preferable to dogshit like brussels sprouts, cauliflower, or peas.both of you are ignoring the fact that green (bell?) peppers are stereotypically portrayed similarly to broccoli as universally hated by children in Japan. (Steam broccoli goes great with/is easily masked by a creamy cheese soup or well seasoned mashed potatoes btw)
Even better!Bro this is just a little kid with tits
OHOHOHO
We should all think this way without exceptionsAlthough it's wholesome, it's still degenerate to me
Pretty much the same thing yes
For some people including myself, it's more of a texture issue than flavor, same thing with onions, I like the flavor but despise the texture of it, if I see it in my food I naturally pick them out, same with green/bell peppersGreen peppers are delicious if cooked properly. They pair really well with strong flavors of tomato and garlic. That's why they fit so well with fajitas or in a green pepper casserole. Just having them over plain rice doesn't sound good in the slightest.
