I had naively assumed that them leaving the country would be the end of things, but the way the chapter is framed makes it seem that that isn't the case. I'm guessing they'll run into further trouble where'er they're going, or perhaps the cops will look further into Marie's background and find further reason to suspect her (we do see them discussing her background, followed by a scene of Marie talking about how she can't escape her past and that it's preventing her from protecting Aki, so it seems Marie's past will be important going forward, maybe).

At least we got a cute forehead touch.

Welp I'm wanting them to escape have a happy ending but know mangas so I have some scenarios. the girls will get caught and do the time after the time is up have a happy ending. Or the guy that helping them out might just take the blame or I don't know something feels like they might die. This manga gives me happy sugar life and if you know you know.
Also if you have not read "Happy sugar life" I highly recommend 🥰💖
I hope there an actual happy ending but I don't see it at the same time

I don't know how Japan looks at self defense. But i'm at least a little confident they'd get off with a smack on the wrist here in the States, depending on where the manager's death occurs.
