i had a similar experience as kanna. In 4th to 6th grade i always wore my school uniform's windbreaker jacket everyday because i was moody and wanted the image of some mysterious person that uncovers very little. But it would backfire quite a bit because my school didnt have ac and i would often have anxiety about taking it off when i had to for events. Looking back, it was quite silly which made this chapter a difficult read because it was reminding me of my juvenile cringy behavior lolol.
