It has been announced that the manga will end in the next chapter (Meal 34). It is pretty easy to see why that was, after the latest chapter there was nothing else to do. The chapter was godly. The chapters leading up to it were also pretty amazing.

Going back to this chapter. You can see how Mito is going to "brute force" her way in, and take what she wants, while being pretty damn cute about it.
Nagisa and to a lesser extend Riko are going to be important in what happens next. Look forward to it.

I kind of hoped Kanna would invite Mito to join the group, but I guess this works too. I will give her the benefit of the doubt. Kanna only recently started telling Riko and Nagisa that she does not like bitter things. People still see her as a certain type of person, and it takes time to shake that impression. Since a core theme of this story is public image or your image in general, Kanna is hyper conscious of how Mito comes across. She does not want to tarnish the "perfect" reputation everyone has of her by associating with "someone like herself."

She can show her true self in front of Mito, but only because Mito has told her repeatedly that she is at her best when being authentic. Those moments have always stayed private between the two of them. The bigger issue of not wanting to interact openly in front of others still has to be addressed, though it seems like it is about to come up soon.
