While is possible for MangaDex users to uncheck "Cancelled" and "Hiatus" Publication status checkboxes to avoid unsatisfied experience, but there are exist Manga with Completed Publication status with unsatisfied ending like recently
Isekai wo Seigyo Mahou de Kirihirake! https://mangadex.org/title/20480/isekai-wo-seigyo-mahou-de-kirihirake
or
Kuro no Souzou Shoukanshi - Tenseisha no Hangyaku https://mangadex.org/title/21969/kuro-no-souzou-shoukanshi-tenseisha-no-hangyaku

The hypothetical criteria for this tag is: The story suddenly fast forward from Stories A to Stories C with ending "few years in the future, The Protagonist victorious, The Bad guy has been vanquished, and The world is back to peace" without any Stories B.

You will end up with every concluded series being tagged as 'axed'- the collective userbase assumes every finale is forced by the publisher. Even then, tags shouldn't be so reliant on an individual user's opinion on a story's execution- nearly any given final chapter comment thread is filled with screams about it being 'axed' because they didn't like the ending, or simply the fact that it ended at all.

Ongoing, Complete, Cancelled and Hiatus are concrete statuses from the publishing standpoint- reader's opinions are irrelevant and that's in my opinion how tagging systems should work.

how are we going to say that a certain series is axed? most publisher won't openly admit that a series is being axed, so there is little chance we could get its official status as "axed".
who has the authority to decide that one ending is satisfactory or not? what definition of "satisfactory ending" or "abrupt end" would be accepted by everyone?
will you say H2 as unsatisfactory just because it ended up "abruptly" right before the final even though it already conclude all of it's content other than the tournament?
what about series which from the very beginning only consider adapting one arc into a manga even though its novel has more arcs available. Manga which is prospected as an advertisement for its novel from the start for example. It's not axed, the ending is planned, there is clear end for the story arc, but there's actually still more to come.

I know M-U has the [Rushed Ending/Axed] combination tag, but as others have already said, that's less concrete than [Cancelled/Hiatus].

Others have covered the points, refer to MangaUpdates for a "rushed ending" kind of tag
