It's when your stomach is upset but you can't quite place why it is, could be stress or acid reflux or diarrhea. Something about eating a tums makes the pain go away, either physically by reducing stomach acidity or psychologically as easy medicine for the mind. My sister and I say the phrase to each other as shorthand for stomach issues.
