@HoangDinh I am almost positive she is doing it on purpose, and she doesn't even need glasses. She pretend to be near-sighted to the point of comedic blindness, but she wear the glasses in the way typical of far-sighted people. When you are near-sighted, you want your glasses to cover the most part of your field of view, especially the highest part (the one you use to look at distant object); on the opposite, when you are far-sighted you tend to drop your glasses on the tip of your nose, so that they don't disturb the vision of distant objects. Now , if she were to have perfect eyesight, but wearing a strong prescription, she would want the glasses out of the sight (ba-dum, tsh!) and she would wear them exactly like a far-sighted person, so they would obstruct her vision as little as possible.

Or maybe it is just bad writing from someone that has never used glasses in their life and didn't care for the premise enough to do 10 minute of google search on the topic.
