Alrighty, more junk food for the reading list.

I'm mainly adding it for the camel because they locked the fuck in protecting that princess and I've never seen a loyal camel before.

...Kinda weird immediately choosing one side of the ants over the other though. Like...would he get the same result if he took out the white ants? Was it really just a snap judgement based on appearances?
Just saying. Coulda waited for one of them to show hostility first.

I think it needs more explanations of why sand magic is considered useless in that world.
The readers need more convincing reason of why it's useless rather than how he'll get OP later to accept the reason of his banishment.

Heck I believe the readers can just read without the context, simply see the way he surfed and building castle, and wouldn't find anything weird with it. Until we learned that it's considered weak and we'll ask why and how.
We see many strong sand manipulators in other media after all.

If anyone's interested in proper sand-magic stuff, I recommend "White Sand" by Brandon Sanderson.

I'll give this manga 2-3 more chapters to make sense of the slop

Named Horus after the Egyptian Sun and Sky god Horus, name made because well Egypt is related to deserts, does not use Set (which has variants like Seth) who is literally god of the desert, or Geb the Egyptian god of earth (or at least the most prominent).

I will point out Gaara does not need to carry sand its just more convenient, and less extensive then just making sand on the spot which he can do.

I don't even understand this cause sand ain't even something Uncommon so his magic would still be super useful. Sand is basically everywhere it's just crushed up rocks like I'd understand a bit more if it was at least something less common like salt, but sand?

The flashback was hilariously bad. It actually made me laugh after seeing him cry. Also, what the fuck are goblins doing in the middle of a desert? It feels like the author didn't even try thinking what kind of monster would fit a desert, they just went "fantasy = goblins, obviously."

There are some things I liked, though. I loved him having conversations with the camel, and I liked friendly ants. Though, I already know the ant queen will have a humanoid form, and will obviously be a part of the harem. Also, TIL "ant honey" is actually a thing (had to look it up first, though, it sounded rather ridiculous).

Btw, I already have an idea for a next banishment-type manga. A cum-bender gets banished to the sea of semen, where he'll help all the seamen in catching sperm whales.

Yeah, I’m calling bullshit of the highest degree.

A Sand Kingdom banishing a SAND MAGE to the fuggin’ desert??? Gitthafukouttahere!

Despite the obvious utility in the most ideal environment, dude is basically the Elsa of sand. Wth my mind went with that instead of the obvious choices, I have no idea. Still, too bad these people don’t know about Crocodile… Or Gaara… or Apocalypse… or even Toph if you squint just right…

I think he could've used his sand ability much more efficiently if use his powers of the sand to just bury the goblins you know? like swallow the goblins into deep the sand.

Wanted to say it looks generic…but this might be the first time I’ve seen any MC with SAND magic

It was Sand wave or Sandnami (Zanami), why change it to sand ripple...? Seemingly all magic names were changed to lamer names... why?

I mean it isn't that important... but still quite odd...

Got too much on the back burner but I glanced and read a few things. Pretty much got the gist of it. Which someone like an editor should have stepped in. Doesn't make sense to banish a guy and act like an ass to them into the very thing that their magic works in. It's a weak intro for that like any story that starts off with. I just woke up.

It would have better if his farther sent him on a quest to tame the desert with his magic or for a tragic story his kingdom being conquered and his family get him out and he has to learn how to master his power and reclaim the crown and save his kingdom. This whole get power seems weak and rejected trope is overused and weak as a story telling device.
