I look at it again, and seeing he can manipulate a massive amount of sand alone and still got exiled feels like weak setting.

Someone might can only create and manipulate fart, but if he can control and manipulate massive amounts of farts, that's still scarily powerful.
Probably still makes more sense in this setting if this person get exiled, as a royalty that controls fart would be deemed as disgraceful.

Man this one had me at the start cause imma sucker for kingdom building stuff but idk it just feels kinda half assed. Like it feels like a bubbly yay fun adventure trying to claim it's a kingdom building story. Like I'd think that at this point in the story I'd be reading about creative uses of sand abilities to create the infrastructure for long term living. Instead he runs off to help a humanoid ant and somehow knows the other ant has a demon and just removes it and now he has a naked ant lady and man that are now his somehow? Not to mention the zero explanation for his magic stuff he just found out his element is sand before being kicked out where are all these spells from? I may be nitpicking but wouldn't it have been better to have him learning interesting ways he can use this magic he just found out about rather than just already somehow knowing these pre-determined spells for everything?

It could be seen another way: it can basically manipulate small particles of solid material in bulk, regardless of the actual material.

Note that some people here have compared Horus to an isekai'ed Gaara, who can also manipulate some gold dust at some point. So it's far from unprecedented.

Sand is basically tiny pieces of minerals. So it would be a form of specialized earth magic.

Now i am curious. What kind of sand that no longer considered sand? Does mythril grinds to small particles considered sand? What about gold sand just like from Rasa The Fourth Kazekage? Or any metal, crystal, gemstones as long as it turned to sand like it's also controllable? What about bone dust?

But 3 chapters in, and... Yeah, there isn't much here. I expected the MC's sand power to be quite OP, but not in this instant too. Shallow characters and rushed plot development everywhere.

Hmm... Added to reading list and wait for 3 more chapters before further assessment.
