I must have missed something important at some point, because I still don't understand why she didn't bail on this place as soon as she had the chance. Even if she can't trust Klein, it seems like using him long enough to escape would be safer than being anywhere near this psycho prince who could murder her on a whim at pretty much any time, not to mention a marked improvement on her stress levels. Maybe she's just that confident in her foreknowledge of the plot, I don't know. Just feels contrived to me at this point.
