More or less trying to find a "reasonable" way to execute her. She is being very cooperative right now but she still knows that they tried to kill her and who knows of when she will tell it to someone that the prince and his party tried to kill the "saint" and make it look like the monster killed her.

It's been a long time since I read the WN but iirc it's cause Amalia felt ill will towards the Princess when she made the tea. The effects of her tea is affected by how she feels when making it. Also, this will happen again in the future when she makes tea for the Prince while the Prince be insulting her and after he drinks her tea and he's burned from the inside... and yes he dies.

Any more spoilers on what happens to trash princess?

I don't exactly remember but she either gets disowned or prisoned or something. If I'm right though, she does ends up hanging herself at the end. The trash wizard I remember he got prisoned then did a prison break but his corpse found later with large claw marks which is implied to be Yugo's work. It shouldn't be too far off from this chapter cause it all happens quite fast when Yugo starts to attack the castle.

I dunno if the manga will keep to the WN though.
