This is not the final chapter, even though it seems like one! There are two more manga volumes! We're already progressing through Chapter 16.

We also just uploaded a ton of chapters of our manga I'm an Unfashionable Lady, which is now a finished series. If you like Tea Life, you'll like Unfashionable Lady!

You might also like our fantasy romcom called The Condemned, Useless Prince Gets Picked Up. It's very likeable and has great progression!

Why was the teleporter running away on foot? Even if for some dumb reason he was saving his magic, the moment he was caught in the pitfall, unless it knocked him out, would be a "teleport now" situation.
I got the vibe from both this and the novel that the guy wasn't nearly as good of a mage as he made himself out to be. Also, it's been a long while since I've read the novel, but I think Leonardo was supposed to specialize in fighting mages? And he was shocked out how weak this guy was

Love the idea that his giant ego was based entirely in nothing.

Checked up the WN for this.

It only says that Braulio was arrested and imprisoned by the kingdom, but escaped some years after. His corpse was later found in Amalia's country, covered in giant claw marks.

I suppose this is fine, but I admit, this sort of summarized ending isn’t as satisfying. I wanna see the guilty punished a bit more.

I do think its funny that the mage is so fragile he could be defeated by just giving him a noogie.

Really depends on the setting's magic rules, but usually teleportation (any variant) is a difficult spell to perform. Not something you'd be able to do in a panic unless you're really skilled/powerful.

He teleported himself as far away from the castle as possible, that's the only explanation why the just rescued FMC was able to catch up to him in a different part of the country.

Good. no more sticking his snot filled finger in tea to test a stupid theory of his.
he was a nasty piece of shit... but holy crap is he WEAK! it is a miracle he is still alive.. because he won't survive a cell where the flies could kill him by flying in his face.
