Meh, I've read worse, but this is average at best, in a genre that wore out its wonder over 8 years ago, with a "betrayed by allies because of bad investigation" trope that wore itself out by the third manga to do so.
I don't know how many chapters of the raws there are, but if the series can reach chapter 10 before the year's end, then it might be fine to just mindlessly read. If they start to go too far on dialogue for each page, I'll just drop it.
If a story is overdone, which this is, they're better off showing the world and not telling all the details about it.
Edit: So they're not that far in the raws either (only 2 chapters). Artist has to really crank out these chapters, or they gotta drop this after 26 chapters. First impressions are still important, and this first chapter give it the impression that it has neither the art quality, nor the originality to make it last.
That said, thank you to Kumo Translations for trying this. I hope you can at least enjoy the work for TL-ing this manga. Like I said before, I'll read it if the pages don't turn into 50% text explanations of the world.
