I think there's more to this than that.
Maybe, because they're in a peaceful time, the princess kicked the real hero out so that he wouldn't provoke a change in the balance of powers between the different nations.

@Starbright The Mc is actually the hero that she summoned not his best friend so its either she doesn't want to accept the fact that he's the hero or she knew he was the hero and simply being the average bitch who wants a hero with only good looks.

Just reread past chapters and I think this is what's going on there were already rumors a hero arrived and since he not native people assumed its him and likely the glasses lady tipped the newspaper.

I'm thinking she wants to get rid of him just to hide the fact another was summoned. I'm thinking the 2nd princess is jealous since her sister is a saint and likely meant to be a party member to the hero so she is trying to make sure they dont meet. I dont think the 2nd princess believes the mc is the hero and if he is I'm sure she rather kill him then let him get near her sister.

Man hope she gets what's coming to her. Also think other kingdoms summoned there Ian heroes as hinted in this chapter.
