This is like a condensed version of pretty much all the villainess/princess got abandoned by original family manga.
Very fast paced and easy to skim. If you want to give someone an example as to how dumb and generic things in this genre can get or bad writing in general then this is pretty good for that.
I only read 4 chapters but this is more than 90% just tropes. Even the scanlator wanted to give up.
Also it's stupid, really stupid. Like things happen only because the author wrote it to be that way.
Examples:
At the start we are told she gets sick a lot (doesn't mention what kind of sickness and frequency/period) and that there's a prophecy thing and for some reason her whole family hates her. The reason for hating her doesn't make much sense and that level of hate feels like an overreaction only written to make it feel dramatic but it's so obvious that it just looks stupid. I tried to think of a couple of reasons (like not being able to live luxuriously) for the hate but none of them really work with this reaction.
So she is sick and presumes she will be bedridden for the day (probably from experience) and her father takes her for a walk in the woods to get rid of her. Suddenly she isn't sick anymore? How long/far did they walk?
Instead of killing her or something, he just left her alone in the woods and walked away. Can't she just walk back? It doesn't even look too deep into a forest. Not enough details are given so it looks dumb.
She gets chased by wolves and somehow survives. Adrenaline is not enough for an explanation. What about stamina? Muscles? How didn't she trip? Pretty sure she has plot armour luck as a superpower so there could be some bullshit explanation.
She ends up in the neighbouring country, next to the count's mansion. I'll ignore the fact that one walk and chase through a forest from the royal family's mansion crosses a border and reaches a count's mansion because the countries could be any size and we don't know the history and geography.
Instead of making sure she died, they just declare that she died. Maybe he is stupid because of the bad luck?
Count adopts her and gives her a stupid name change. It would be better to declare that she was found or take it to the royal family privately.
Apparently the girl who outran wolves in the forest shouldn't learn martial arts but making medicines with herbs instead? Ok. Could be expected gender norms or whatever. That seems to be a thing here.
Of course her power is luck and magic exists. Put herbs into a cauldron, black smoke comes out and you get a thing which could taste different depending on the person? What was that for? To establish that she has bullshit luck powers?
Apparently not many recognise her despite her looks (especially the pink eyes) and name being enough for the count to recognise her?
Her own sister proposes to a guy whom she just met (according to what we know so far) and doesn't even see her own sister who is right next to her. Not recognising her is somewhat understandable but why is she so down bad? Could be hormones boosted by her curse or for money but it looks like she just horny.
I know they're not blood related so it's okay but incestuous vibes still feel weird.
Technically some of these can be explained by luck but even for luck it's incredibly stupid. One way to explain that would be some higher being or mastermind capable of lowering others' IQ and other stats, manipulating things behind the scenes for some purpose. Or maybe it's bad writing.
At least it's not reincarnation or game world on top of that.
Probably not worth anyone's time but fun to read ironically. If you like consuming dumb things to criticize or make fun of them then it might be for you.
