Sort of disappointing how predictable it was that the childhood friend's appearance served to bring tension in the form of lingering feelings from the past. Still, I'm sure developments will be less predictable going forward.

On the upside, I do really love the pen-drawn element of this series; seeing small details like the ink dot at the start of a stroke on page 5 is very relatable 💙

She's into Shiori to be more precise. But since Shiori never looks at her more than just a friend, she's left with a void in her heart. While homosexuality is less common than heterosexuality, I guess she just accepts any guys' confessions to fill it. Or even when she's the first one to confess, it's based on other people's desire rather than genuinely hers like "You should just date him," "You two will be a perfect match."
