It's always silly as hell when the 'average' level is like 20-30, but the mc's level is in the 1000's and yet the author still shows them struggle. Maybe levels don't count for much. I mean his magic level alone is 46x Femille's. Hyperinflation too early feels a bit detrimental. Oh well, I still enjoy the story.
Well, in fairness having power and knowing how to use it effectively are different matters. It's pretty awkward playing a high level character against anything that isn't really weak if you aren't actually used to the controls and combos and shit like that. Which happens to me a lot because I neglect a game for three centuries before jumping in again like "Uh, wait how do I do this again, whoops, oh shit." Even much lower enemies can give you a run for your money in some games if you aren't playing skillfully enough and just face tank all their attacks.
The stat scaling is so weird that feels plain wrong for some reason. I guess Im too used to defensive stats working on a % basis and not on absolute such as [atk - def = damage], usually the HP is a digit higher but this could work as well I guess.
