Rudolph came from 300 years in the future, where Wilheim rewrote history so he was the hero and Rudolph the villain. Wilheim also seems to be a reincarnator since he knows his altered history and is working to make that bad timeline reality

Oscar is the 2nd prince and the one faction Rudolph didnt try to cozy up with, instead siding with the first prince

Oscar also has a grudge against the royal family (with amber eyes? not sure what that was about), so this student council is a double trouble of a prince who wants to destroy the royal family and Wilhelm who wants to destroy the nation.

As for the first prince, he has no clue about how to maintain human relations. It's no wonder this nation was doomed. At least, his younger brother should now be powerless to cause trouble.
