didn't think I would love this manga so much, highly recommend trying this out!

The fact it is regression/reincarnation to past is a little weird since he primarily has his memories from before he possessed the body, but I guess work for how he had knowledge of the future.
Though I am wondering if Wilhelm also has knowledge of the epic (which also seems to be more of a propaganda piece than fact)

This one is good. I want there to be more elaboration about the MC's past (or future?) life though. We only know that he was a villager because he mentioned it one or two times and he read the poem/history book about the succession battle in which he trapped into. However, we don't know how did he acquire the book in the first place. Were 300 years ago peasant illiterate? How about during the previous life? He was a villager yet he read the book. Why did he read the book in the first place? It didn't seem like he had passion in history either, lest he would make all sorts of references, connections, analogies to the history before and after the succession battle (or it was simply the author's shortcomings). The idea of MC being a history geek and using all of his knowledge and analyses to navigate the conflict would be interesting. There's no need to make him a genius, just a person who had above-average knowledge
The idea of MC just being a regular villager who likes to read and had access to few books in the church is fine either. It's just that there should be more in the MC than someone who knows about the future. Maybe he was a florist, or even boring-ass farmer. For example, if it were me, my lazy ass wouldn't just try to survive, but also try to secure a laid-back and lazy life and always look for a chance for a nap cuz I need a 5 mins nap every 3 hours else my brain would overheat. It's practically mandatory since I'd just drop dead in class without me being aware lol. The only time I could be fully awake for long period of time is when I'm riding my bike since it's related to my survival and I'd be dead a long time otherwise. Anyway, even something as simple as being good at climbing tree like in a certain villainess series would make this even better

I am liking the story, my only complaint thus far is a pretty major goof at the end of 10.2 I read today:
I mean I assume the artist probably doesn't have anyone checking his work but it is the kind of thing once you see it you'll be like: How did no one at the publisher not notice this?
It really bothered me when Wilhelm murdered his father after drawing his sword, stabbed and left it in his father's back, and is then clearly seen walking away with the sword back it's sheath and his father's back in the same frame.
I mean I assume the artist probably doesn't have anyone checking his work but it is the kind of thing once you see it you'll be like: How did no one at the publisher not notice this?

Now according to the "Book" Rudolf was a tyrant who stole Wilhem's lover and killed the other 3 Princes to only be killed by Wilhem's lover Lisbeth

Rudolf only lover will be Lisbeth herself and they are both kinda really over protective with each other. Lisbeth makes it clear that she does not allow Rudolf to have any mistress and such or she will "UnAlive" him and Rudolf also does not like her being close with any other boys.

The First Prince Fredrick does not actually want to take the Throne. Which is why he is very cold to others in hope this will help ruin his image and make the nobles give up on him. But when he realize that the 2nd Prince Oscar has something sinister about him, he decided to fulfill his role with the support of Rudolf later in the story.

The Second Prince Oscar while currently the one with most noble support especially after 3rd Prince blunder. He makes it clear to Rudolf that he hates the Royal family bloodlines and he has his reason why he wants to ascend the throne (never mentioned in the WN) so it is assume he wish the eradicate the royal bloodline. He is very cunning and manipulative and even tried to recruit Rudolf into his faction.

The Third Prince Robin, is an Idiot and spoiled brat almost like Rudolf before his past memories came back. He abuse his power 90% of the time and always blames Rudolf if things doesn't go right. After he got caught trying to assault Lisbeth on her bed chambers, he was forbidden to get close to either Lisbeth or Rudolf. He tries to break off Lisbeth and Rudolf in order to make Lisbeth his despite already having a Fiancee (Shiella). He is later stripped off from his right for the throne and banished to the north under strict supervision.

Her family the "Andersen" always have a female as the head of the family and the only reason they accepted Robin's engagement is so they could have a connection to the royal family for rights and such. I feel like with that look from the first prince in the end of this most recent chapter he might turn out to be a little more awkward than overall rude. I mean, he is first in line for the throne so he is probably used to people wanting something from him, so the MC coming in and just offering his assistance without asking for a favor probably confused him. Unless shown otherwise, I have a feeling that the first prince might not have had anyone he could call an actual friend so it'll be interesting to see how he pans out. Plus, he seems to be the least two-faced or arrogant out of the three main princes.

The manga had potential for some cool exploration regarding several topics, such as whether you can change the future, how history is written by the victors, or even just some nice political intrigue, but most of it is utterly wasted.
It turns the MC's enemies into mindless, cackling villain caricatures. There are no worthy opponents, their only advantage over him being their status, so, despite the MC supposedly having faced numerous setbacks in the past, it still feels as if I'm reading a wish fulfillment story. Also, the MC's time travel gimmick is only brought up when it's convenient. Really, really disappointing.
