Yes, the Drive document was left as a draft (or put on hold) and newly introduced tags don't appear there, even if they're used on the main site (not every series that should has self-published for instance). Self-published, to avoid overlapping with webcomic, is left only for printing releases, all doujinshi would fall under this category but I think it's only used and meant for series. In order words, webcomics (and series that in the past were published like this) that manage to get printed without the meddling of a publisher are meant to be tagged with self-published.

No, Self-Published is the ex User Created tag, meant ONLY for titles "published" by the author (or someone who got permission from the author) on MangaDex.

Oh, I didn't know it got changed, but yes, I know the meaning of User Created (the same definition it had in the end). Thanks for the clarification anyways (@wodniobojca188 this was what you were asking), since I'm not into the Discord server I only check the forum.

I think any work who was first published online should be tagged as web comic, or else why is Solo Leveling tagged as web comic when it was published as a booktoon serie?

Well that's true. But what I was trying to say is yes a manga who was prepublished on a digital platform should be marked as web comic, even if it's japanese, even if it's not a webtoon.

The tag would be nearly useless then, since there's very few manga published phisically only nowadays it would only not apply to old manga that never had a web release.
