I feel like this is the umpteenth time I'm reading a story like this, and I feel like this absolutely will not be the last time. And I somehow never get tired of them.

Call me a raccoon, because this is definitely my kind of trash.

Hmm, cliche villain reincarnation premise... but the art is decent. We'll have to see how it goes.

Technically, the MC is reincarnated as the that one Jobber in isekai schools who calls out to the Hero/Protagonist during the start for being "unworthy of being in the school" either due to status, having trash skills etc, then, belittles them, then challenges them to a duel, then humiliated.
The title of Villain actually belongs to someone else in this story.

MC and his relationship starts out poorly but they become friends albeit in a very tsundereish way as Weiss is constantly berating Allen or even insulting him but gets along with him.

If you are talking about the Light Novel art then that is correct.

The artist name is Kuwashima Rein and he/she was the one who provided the art for the Light Novel and created the character designs for everyone(since only god knew how they looked like before the Light Novel came out).

Here are the character deisgns for some of the main cast. As you can see here two of them look awfully familiar. And it just so happens they happen to be the game's Hero and Heroine.

Honestly once you get to Volume 2 it gets so much better.

The author really nailed the character interactions, romance and power scaling

It is hinted that the Demon Lord here is waaay stronger than in the game. It is speculated that might be a reincarnator too.

Regardless, once Volume 2 comes around the stakes dramatically increase for the Weiss and he and his friends have to double down their efforts.

Not only that. He knows he is in "do or die" situation and it's much easier to try when you have high stakes attached. Maybe it's just me that's broken, but I really find anything hard to do unless there's a big penalty in not doing it, money and free time don't help.

A case of missing parents. His mom died giving birth to him so his father pampers him a lot as a result.

His dad is a nice person but he also absent from the house since aside from being a noble, he is also has a position in the government so Weiss was left all alone in his household without anyone to guide him.
