That's what I wonder, every chapter of Ushimitsu Gao is full of comments hating on Paku's writing. Why keep on reading if you hate it? Is like they love bullying a woman even if it's indirectly or something... I don't see worst mangakas get this kind of nonsense criticism

I can only really assume either they don't have many people to talk to and need all their opinions to be heard or that they're just so far up their arses they think it's worth being heard.

I'd understand a little more if these types of comments had actual criticism attached, but it's always just flat "this is bad", which always just means "I don't like it". It's fine to not like things, but hasn't anyone ever heard "if you don't have anything nice to say" before? That's why I wish comments like these would attach some actual thought about what exactly is bad, at least that way they can have some kind of worthwhile discussion with other people who might disagree instead of just inducing annoyed confusion (which I should probably be more immune to feeling by now, but I like writing long comments, so...)

I think it's more likely the one that you're the one who cries over the fact that almost everyone you know thinks that you're a disgusting freak for getting sexually aroused by dressing up as a cartoon animal, or would think that if you didn't keep it a secret. Hopefully you do keep it a secret to spare your family the shame and embarassment.

all of her other mangas are flops besides beastars, and the only reason beastars sold well is because of the anthropomorphic animal designs. Using anthropomorphic animal designs is like a cheap hack to get people to pay attention to an otherwise uninteresting highschool drama and fighting storyline. You saw the same thing with Weird Taxi. No one would have given a shit about the mediocre crime story without the anthropomorphic animal character designs. Using child main characters in a gory horror/survival story is another cheap way to get people to care about your manga which wouldn't be interesting enough for people to pay attention to otherwise.
You can tell that Paru can't hack it as a real mangaka making stories about humans because all of her other manga about humans are flops.
