New manga.
Shin-chan's gone a long way from his butt dancing days

I be reminding everyone that this has a josei tag, and the summary does roughly spoil the whole vol 1, so you know what to expect.
I would describe this manga as very loosely based on Count of Monte Cristo.
The antagonist is unapologetically villainous. A nice break from all the goody villainess isekai mangas in vogue today.
As this manga is purely done by the mangaka and not adapted from a novel, I have no idea how this story will end or how many vols there will be but I have theories.
From what's published so far, I'm surmising that it's currently 3/4th of the story done.
Don't see how the mangaka could prolong it any longer.
But...why must their names be so long... It's annoying fitting them in the bubbles

Early Taisho fashion is always interesting to me with women in traditional Japanese clothing while men's business and military were western style.

I love period dramas. The Taisho Era is period I especially have a soft spot (especially as a big fan of Raidou Kuzunoha).
