Something a lot of people don't understand is that masochists and sadists desire the same thing: control. While they receive pleasure from different actions (derived from inflicting or receiving pain, embarrassment, etc.), the main thing is to have a sense of control of how the play goes. I think she is right in saying she wants to have and train a partner, but she isn't exactly right when using the term 'sadist' on page 7. A true sadist and masochist will never get along, but she found the perfect man to be her partner because of how much he cares and will try to please her.
