sigh, on reread... you know, how hard is it to ask one of the 8 people you are travelling/friendly with, HOW MUCH THEY THINK SOMETHING IS WORTH?, prior to walking into a store and trying to sell something worth probably equivalent to $10000 in that world for $5? Normally, minorly excusable for newly isekai'd MCs who are alone and need to get cash/haven't had much chance to investigate pricing. But it's a dense a.f. move to not have any idea and wing it when you had ample opportunity to get some estimates first, even WAGs ("oh gosh, no idea... I'd be surprised though if it was less than 1000 AL tho").
