I feel like I would kinda struggle to be in a relationship with her. I get jealous pretty easily and overthink absolutely everything. So something like this would automatically activate my overthinking and jealousy and make me slightly upset and subconsciously start thinking stuff like “why don’t you want me there?”, “are you embarassed to be dating me?”, or even “are you hiding something?”. But I also tend to get over it fairly quickly, especially if she gives me a few words of assurance.

We have to remember that they are in their first relationship so that is why she acts like that. Also it seems that her embarrassed from his compliments/affection not embarrassed about the him as a person. It is pretty cute tbh.

Oh yeah I agree it’s cute. And yeah it’s completely understandable too. I was just talking about me personally. I have pretty low self-esteem so a relationship like this would be kind of difficult for me. The ML on other hand, evidently isn’t like me so he doesn’t struggle with that kind of stuff. At least not yet he doesn’t. I’m sure if it went on like this for too long he’d eventually have an issue or two.

Gonna be honest, I sort of prefer the more confidently-feminine type tomboy, just because I typically like female characters that are just generally confident. And in the first place, isn't the tomboy archetype supposed to sort of be about, like, not caring what other people think of you?

I've known a few tomboyish girls before and they're not typically the type to get embarrassed easily. (Mostly just my cousins, so I guess there's a bit of selection bias there, but whatever.)

Like, don't get me wrong, I appreciate when tomboy puts on some cute clothes, but those occasions should be rare and special!! Not every single chapter. Seeing her in that outfit instead of the Gakuran really disappointed me
