Ohhh! A bold girl! I gotta admit, her attitude really caught me off guard. Usually, in Japanese teen romances, things move suuuuuuper slow, and the romance kinda sneaks up on you little by little. So the fact that this girl just went for it, even with the whole "let's be friends" thing, is pretty surprising.

Man i hate when people write like they have never had a fucking conversation in their life like do these ppl never read their own sentences out loud like just reading them out loud in a conversation cadence would make them realize how retarded they sound also whats with this "will you be my friend" cliche this isn't a thing real people do unless there actual retarded or toddlers so fucking dumb. Suffice to say 6/10 will keep reading

I understand where she is coming from. From her POV they are nothing but two acquaintance who share the train together. Plus both of them are JP, mf need to confirm and reconfirm all type of relationship.

This is just another cultural difference. I know it doesn’t make much sense to us Westerners, but for the Japanese, you’ve gotta clearly define what kind of relationship you have with people. Not sure how long you’ve been reading manga, but this whole thing about defining relationships is super common. It’s not unusual in manga to see characters who’ve known each other for a while freaking out when they find out one of them already thinks of the other as a friend.
