If you are exceptionally beautiful or handsome, there will naturally be more people casting glances at your direction. That's just how humans work. However, most people also know it's rude to stare, so they don't want to get caught staring. That's why those in a higher risk of getting caught staring would avoid it. It also means they wouldn't notice anything.
