This does make a little more sense. Basically, it's a warning that if you make a mistake and trail behind the others, you can't really count that others will also make mistakes and let you catch up.
Still a formulated as a bit of a tautology, but a little less of an obvious one.

@ikki_kun There can't be any universal rule like that. Sometimes they might sound weird, sometimes they sound good. I'd say it heavily depends on whether there's a specific reason for a name that carries a meaning. Like if you have "Reverend Unforgiving", it's usually because the person has a personality that never forgives or shows mercy. I don't know what "unforgiving" is in Chinese, so if such a name was left untranslated, the whole thing would be lost on me. Maybe it wouldn't matter, maybe it would. That's why I always like it when a xianxia translator translates "relevant" names like that, but doesn't translate names that don't really carry any meaning significant to the story. Most names would belong to the latter category. Typically it would also look weird if the MC's name was translated since you see it all the time, so it could be better to remain just a name.

@Kaarme You're probably right ,i guess because it sound weird in english ,probably because im not used to chinese culture ,i was scared of them translating later characters names relevant to the story since i read the novel and it will feel weird to me ,that was my problem ,but you can also not translate names and put a side note for their meaning every time they introduce a person with a name that carries meaning ,its just preferences i guess
