It must be for the earlier chapters, i really think this manga deserves that. Unfortunately, Tan Jiu got traced by Chinese government for this manga and the depiction of girls kissing and so on, it is unknown until this time if they're gonna continue the story. This manga has been updated from the author's instagram posts about the couple. The story isn’t going anywhere is it? Does not deserve the high ratings
The author has been banned from continuing the story due to featuring the characters kissing and has now been drawing these kinds of updates because they don't want to let go of the story and its charactersThe story isn’t going anywhere is it? Does not deserve the high ratings
It sucka how backwards communism can get.. I hope some younger person sees how outdated the idea is and repels the ban in general. It’ll give a lot more artists freedom to express themselves..The author has been banned from continuing the story due to featuring the characters kissing and has now been drawing these kinds of updates because they don't want to let go of the story and its characters
It’s strange but there are other gay Chinese series like straight girl trap, Balli Jin among mortals, working overtime to destroy the world why does this series get axed?Event with the strict law of gay comic in china, the author still able to made this enjoyable
I do not know per say, but that was what happened with the author maybe because his/her other gay comic was too spicy? I forgot the title of itIt’s strange but there are other gay Chinese series like straight girl trap, Balli Jin among mortals, working overtime to destroy the world why does this series get axed?
My pfp is my exact reaction to this informationIt must be for the earlier chapters, i really think this manga deserves that. There was only 1-2 kiss scenes, this series is super tame compared to other GL series..I do not know per say, but that was what happened with the author maybe because his/her other gay comic was too spicy? I forgot the title of it
What actually happened was that her publisher did not approve of the kiss scene because they were afraid that the government would take notice and go after their company to make an example out of them. They told her that they won’t publish the chapter unless she removes the confession (kiss) scene, the author refused, so the publisher refused to pay her in retaliation. There was a whole altercation over that kiss scene, leading to a termination of contract between them. The author shared the confession scene on her social media instead (which received some backlash by some homophobes). And because of these nasty incidents, as well, some changes in her life that she got busy with, she kind of lost motivation to continue the storyline and have started working on other projects which she published herself but she, of course, still feel attachment towards her characters in Tamen de Gushi so now she just draws random funny episodes.I do not know per say, but that was what happened with the author maybe because his/her other gay comic was too spicy? I hope, at least the author will draw a conclusion if they ever stop updating this title. It's sad to see something that has been shaped for so many years ended without any proper conclusive epilogue. What actually happened was that her publisher did not approve of the kiss scene because they were afraid that the government would take notice and go after their company to make an example out of them. I second this, plus it's finished now.If you guys haven't read Lily by Yy, I highly recommend it! It's like Tamen de Gushi if it never got cancelled, the character dynamics are super similar. The first season is pretty much free if you look it up, but you'll have to read the second one on BiliBiliComics, it's also ongoing so that's a plus.
