And now he's going to defend someone who pretty much is a villain in every slavery hentai, without proof, just to score points with the main girl, because let's face it, this kind of MC would never have bothered if the noble girl wasn't cute or still had kept opening her legs for the other guy. And of course, the narrative will bend itself backwards to prove him right.

Also, why do I feel like the MC changed and not for good? His character development feels so odd and out of place. This looks like started with a more older audience as target and now it wants a younger one.

Not sure if manga was really axed but you can always read the novel, it's way better as manga always skips many stuff.

For example one of the most imporant characters Edita and her arc (Alchemist Edita) was skipped and instead manga used the next arc (Dorm Life).

Right now manga 2° part (If we have one, should start in Alchemist Edita), here I left a pastebin I made long ago when Novel "End", author later continue it someting like Narutoand Shippuden.

For my secondary friends: this manga is an adaptation of a light novel, a bad adaptation.
The novel itself is enjoyable, Tanaka's perverted inner monologues are top tier, there is a decent cast of male characters that are bro tier. While Tanaka may seem a pushover he isn't a spineless shit, acting when he needs to act. He's not a champion of justice nor a murderhobo, he's just wants to get a potion that will make him young again so he can get a maiden and rip her hymen.

I recommend you to read the novel, the current traslator is doing a good job.

@TetraSky it means they finished part 1 or season one of the story and now are on break till they finish making couple of chapters. Its an adaptaion of LN and they mad chnages here and there so i think they know what they are doing.
