Most of the manga with the Erotica tag published by Young Magazine are just plain awful. The stories are nonsensical, and the characters’ behavior makes absolutely no sense. It’s honestly infuriating how forced and contrived everything around the plot feels. Just take a look at this list:

• Hajirau Kimi ga Mitainda
• Daredemo Dakeru Kimi ga Suki
• Kanojo no Tomodachi
• NTREVENGE
• Ueno-kun wa Kaihatsuzumi

None of these are good by any standard. I’ve completely checked out of Hajirau Kimi ga Mitainda and Daredemo Dakeru Kimi ga Suki, and the only reason I’m still reading Kanojo no Tomodachi and NTREVENGE is just to see how they end.

At this point, I’ve stopped expecting quality from this tag under Young Magazine. If anything, it’s become a warning label more than a genre marker.

Hajirau Kimi ga Mitainda I read and dropped because it's just nonsensical lewdness. What started as a dude wanting to be a film director has now devolved in lewdness for lewdness sake.

Daredemo Dakeru Kimi ga Suki is just cuck manga of a dude who is so pathetic he can't control himself and messes around with the school slut.

The others are garbage as well. Jeez

Misunderstanding with nice abs the manga. These two are hilarious together. I've been following the raws on this one & the erotica tag is correct plus it is on Yanmaga.

Ya I don't blame you on how feel about it given the magazine it resides in. There are some real trash, I can't believe it is not hentai, & one that is really gross that I don't want to traumatize people (the only hint I give is that the current translator is doing Pageratta sensei's works). From your list I did drop NTREVENGE a long time ago after my rant about it. While both Hajirau Kimi ga Mitainda and Daredemo Dakeru Kimi ga Suki have the sunk cost fallacy effect on me especially with the former that I don't want to mention in public. Kanojo no Tomodachi, the chapters are so short that doesn't bother me that much since it is done by a well known hentai artist. The last one I didn't bother since I saw your warning about it & took a small glance before dipping which I should thank you for.

I will say though in defense to Young Magazine, that there are some good ones (for me at least) like:

• The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System
• Nezumi no Hatsukoi
• Heisei Haizanhei ☆ Sumire-chan (debatable given that the last arc was bad but the current arc for the English translations are looking much better)
