OK, cute interactions aside, it feels like a huge plot discrepancy was brought up by Carlo saying that she's currently under house arrest. Chapter 1 only said she was "suspended." She's been out on her own at least once and "broke up a fight," and they've been out together to town on a number of occasions. And most recently in chapter 8 Carlo waited from morning until evening to even go out and look for her.

I think if anything this was a mistranslation here, or they used terminology that literally means "under house arrest" but in context means just "suspended" or similar. I know there's many terms and phrases that do that sorta thing.
