I really like that the kid WANTS to be a bad guy and use the app for his own gains, but instead uses it to help others.

Because he is a good kid, he's just in his edgy phase thinking he wants to use the hypnosis app to get what he wants, but deep down he knows to differentiate right from wrong.

He's like Shadow the Hedgehog in the Ow The Edge game going through the good route but sometimes doing the evil missions partially.

Yep. Author's put out good things and as someone who actually read the title, description, and tags, so far it's been delivering.

Honestly, I like how real it is about the MC too. Yeah a lot of people would take it and think they'd go on a power fantasy using hentai logic and all that but... a good chunk of them would do exactly like MC did and stop themselves short from their own conscience even if nothing else was giving them a reason to do so. Most people just won't cross certain lines regardless of what they try to tell themselves or use to justify them not getting caught up in the moment despite the fact that we all know there's a huge amount of people that would (though having a population in the billions means even a fraction of a fraction of people being complete monsters is still a huge amount of people).

It's honestly not bad at all. Having kept up with the novel as it's been translated, I can say that while it has it's clumsily written moments, there's a lot of interesting stuff too. Also pretty funny (I mean the guy made this scumbag run through the street naked lmao). Not sure what people were annoyed about to warrant so many low ratings, I wonder did they want the MC to be an actual piece of shit who uses the hypnosis app like in porn? Because that's sort of the opposite of the premise of this one (kinda).

it is mentioned that he is not the only one who had the hypnosis app and the other users did what the people on the comments want the mc to do. End result?
The victim memory while they are hypnotized returns and they were broken as the effectiveness of the app lessens the more they use it on the same person, and the user of the app was put to jail while the app automatically removes itself on their phones.

So yes, I was shocked that this work was serialized, as the a person who wants a happy ending in everything I read "to not be depressed after" I'm happy that the MC is just the right amount of perv-ness but not too excessive that this manga is literally became porn.
